Get your car parking refunded in Saltash independent shops!
As part of our wprk to support local businesses, from Friday 19th November the Chamber initiative to subsidise car parking will begin.
Car parking charges up to £1.60 will be able to be redeemed at participating shops against a purchase of £5.00 and over.
At present, £1.60 gets you two hours car parking in Saltash, so that’s two hours of shopping time FREE of charge.
The scheme is set to run for three months, and we’re hopeful of extending it if we have a good response.

How do you get a refund for parking?
- Purchase a ticket as normal in any Cornwall Council car park in Saltash.
- Place the parking section of the ticket in your car as usual.
- Use the counterpart of the ticket in any participating shop in Saltash to redeem the amount of your car parking charge up to £1.60 when you spend £5 or more in one purchase. Make sure you take a receipt.
- Look out for the window sticker to see which shops are taking part.
